So obviously I'd like to get a Salamandastron story started. Ideally something that anyone could join, but could also be carried if there's only a few active players. Provided no one does something insanely plot-twisting (or just dumb) without permission, I am okay with heavy-handed NPCing.
-I'd like to have Salamandastron be taken. Ideally, I'd like this part of the story to be done quickly so we can move into the story of life with Salamandastron under vermin control. Since we don't have anyone playing a Badger Lord, we can even go as far as having the current Badger Lord be killed off at the get-go. If you've other ideas, let me know! We need a cohesive vermin unit (there are a number of warlords/vermin thus far on the site) that actually take the mountain.
-None of us are playing particularly high-ranking Long Patrollers, so I think part two should be to have all the highest-ranked be locked up or incapacitated in some way. Take-back and rescue efforts will be up to the young heroes.
-On a personal note, I want this done with Ripley (and probably Cordin) outside of the mountain, so they aren't wrapped up in the capture. They'll play a large part in the rebellion efforts.
-We can have others inside the mountain under the vermin control (but not locked up) working on resistance and communicating with Ripley and Cordin outside of the mountain
-My character Jamie would be inside of the mountain during the capture, but he wouldn't be high-ranking enough to be locked up. I have ideas for some things that happen with him, and he'll obviously be involved in resistance efforts.
-Later into the plot, I think it'd be fun to deal with one (or more) turncoat Long Patrol hares. These could be NPCed (unless someone felt really compelled to make a character). Seeing themselves on the losing side, they start working for those in charge to the detriment of the resistance. Although I do love my hares, they can't all be goodies, right?!
Thoughts?
