Pond A wide pond graces a corner of the abbey, its tranquil surface broken only briefly by leaping fish or diving otters. Reeds border its perimeter, the shallows a favorite spot for a splash.

Orchards and Gardens Seasonal fruits and vegetables are tended by the dutiful Orchard Keeper, who shoos away naughty Dibbuns who seek to steal early berries before the harvest. Several bee hives can be found off to the side.

Bell Tower The highest tower of Redwall, home to the twin bells of Matthias and Methuselah cast from the great Joseph Bell. The Bellringer makes hourly tolls upon them, announcing the time of day.
